Russia will no longer give rocket engines to America. Dmitry Rogozin, head of the Russian space agency ROSCOSMOS asserted that this step is being taken because America has imposed sanctions on Kremlin in support of Ukraine. “We will not even service the 24 RD-180 engines given to them. There will also be no delivery of the RD-181 engine”, he said.

“In a circumstance like this, we can’t provide the United States with our world’s best rocket engines. Let them fly on something else, their broomsticks, I don’t understand what,” Rogozin announced on state Russian television.

Earlier, Russian Space Agency Director General Dmitry Rogozin told the Russian news agency TASS that after the sanctions, the US does not think that America will be able to work with us in the Vanera-D mission. Maybe we can do this mission alone or we can complete it together with China. Dmitry has sent some instructions to Beijing to discuss technical assistance with China.

Kremlin has also demanded assurances from British satellite firm OneWeb that its satellites would not be employed for military motives.
