Russia has escalated the war by firing missiles on a military infrastructure of Ukraine in Lviv that is bordered with Poland.

Multiple explosions were heard in Novoyavorivsk in the territory of Lviv on Friday. The Russian missiles were aimed at the military infrastructure of Ukraine in the Yavoriv district. “Residents of the city and villages of the Novoyavorivsk community, there are explosions reported across our territory, again. Now I can’t say exactly where this happened, but the explosions are being reported,” said the Novoyavorivsk Mayor, Volodymyr Matseliukh.

According to UKRINFORM, The head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration, Maksym Kozytskyi, has urged the citizens to not publish photographs or a film through Telegram channels. The Military head also assured us that a report will be soon published for further clarification. However, the official has also reported that “there are no confirmed reports of the missiles hitting the city. Let’s thank those who protect our sky to this end.”
