The United Nations Security Council will meet up today to look into Russia’s claims that the US has set up a ‘biological warfare lab’ in Ukraine. The US stated that these are false accusations calls these claims ‘laughable’ from Russia and suggests that Russia might be or has already laid the foundation for chemical warfare and biological offensives.
The first deputy permanent representative to the UN from Russia, Dmitry Polyanskiy, tweeted this urgent request against the US, that it is secretly carrying out military biological research in an undisclosed location in Ukraine.
Russia claims that the US, as part of its biological warfare program has a set of Biolabs in Ukraine that works in tandem with the U.S Department of Defence. Russian Foreign Ministry further added that it has in its possession a docket from the staff of the Biolabs in Ukraine, confirming immediate annihilation of dangerous pathogens.
Russian Defense Ministry stated that the US has financially backed these Biolabs and is working for a secret operation in transmitting deadly pathogens. The US has brushed off these accusations as laughable and said that it’s not them but the Russians who have such Biolabs and are developing chemical offensives.
Victoria Nuland (US Undersecretary of State for Political Affairs), testified at the hearing on Ukraine in the presence of a Senate Foreign Relations Committee, that “Ukraine does have biological research facilities.”
The US officials received a call from their Chinese counterparts to furnish the details of their biological labs in Ukraine and requested to ensure the safety of the relevant people there.
Spokesperson Zhao Lijian said at a press release, “By far the United States are pioneers when it comes to laboratories and hence it is crucial for them to give specific insider as to what viruses are stored and what all research has been carried out”
