Vice President of the State of Palestine and Vice Chairman of the PLO Executive Committee, Hussein al-Sheikh, on Tuesday strongly condemned the Israeli strike in Doha, Qatar, which targeted senior Hamas officials.
Al-Sheikh said the attack was “a serious violation of international law and the sovereignty of the State of Qatar” and warned that it represented “a threat to security and stability in the region.”
The statement came as Qatar and Iran also denounced the strike earlier in the day. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Foreign Affairs later issued its own condemnation, aligning with other regional powers in criticizing the incident.
The strike has heightened tensions in the Gulf region, with concerns that such actions could undermine diplomatic efforts and widen instability across the Middle East.
