Today, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan was set to face the no-confidence motion in the assembly, but now it is likely to be shifted to next week.

Federal Minister for Information and Law Fawad Chaudhry had said that the no-confidence can be shifted to next week. “Voting on no-trust motion can shift to next week,” said the minister to Pakistan’s Geo News.

Meanwhile, ministers have arrived at Pakistan’s national assembly. After the Supreme Court’s decision, the no-confidence vote is scheduled to be held today. Imran Khan has claimed that the ongoing situation is a conspiracy by foreign powers & has alleged the US of taking revenge for his Moscow visit.

Ahead of the voting, Imran khan addressed the nation & had lauded the neighbouring country India by saying “Indians are khuddar quam (very self-respecting people). No superpower can dictate terms to India.” In times of crisis, this can be a signal that Imran Khan is expecting some help from India.
