In wake of the US-brokered Israel-UAE deal, US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo arrived in Israel on Monday. Israel is the first stop on Pompeo’s five-day Middle East tour.

Also on Pompeo’s agenda will be the security challenges posed by China and Iran in the region, said sources.
After meeting Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu, Mr Pompeo will visit Sudan, Bahrain and the UAE, the US State Department said.
