According to reports, in the midst of the ongoing Royal Family feud, It is claimed that “peace talks” are to be held on September 17th between King Charles III and his youngest son, Prince Harry. The meeting attracted attention as the 74 years young king apparently approved his schedule in order for this important discussion to take place.

According to some sources close to the palace, it is expected that King Charles will return from Balmoral at the end of September, at the same time as the conclusion of Prince Harry’s commitment to the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf. That period of time allows for a crucial conversation between father and son.

The source said, “If the talks take place, the King will make it very clear that there will be absolutely no private family business discussed in public moving forward.”

According to sources, while both the king and Prince Harry are ready to sit down and discuss their differences, it is highly unlikely that Meghan Markle will attend. Although she accompanied Prince Harry to the Invictus Games, Prince Harry’s wife will not take part in the discussions.

The background to these talks is months of strained relations between King Charles and Prince Harry. As per sources, efforts are being made to bridge the gap, with discussions currently between Sussex and Buckingham Palace to facilitate reconciliation.

Insiders suggest the talks will be the first personal interaction between father and son since the publication of Prince Harry’s revealing memoir, Spare, in January. The book touched on sensitive issues within the royal family, particularly Queen Camilla, which is said to have affected King Charles.
