If North Korean President Kim Jung-Un wasn’t enough to give out statements looks like his sister Kim Yo-Jung has joined the team.
On Tuesday Kim Yo-Jong warned South Korea of a nuclear offensive if it plans to attack North Korea. This comes in line with South Korea’s conservative President Moon Jae-In. Moon Jae-in an ex-civil rights lawyer, is a South Korean politician and has been serving as the President of South Korea since 2017.
Kim Yo-Jung is a politician and belongs to the Workers Party of Korea (WPK). She is the sister of North Korean President Kim Jung-Un and is considered to be the second-most influential woman in North Korea.
She said, “A huge mistake by the South Korean Defence Ministry has come to the fore by commenting on an imminent attack on North Korea.”; as per state-run media house KCNA.
Last week on Friday, South Korean Defense Minister Suh Wook stated, “South Korea’s military has a different level of new-age missile technology with the ability to hit any target in North Korea.”
Wook’s comments come in after North Korea did a missile test-firing its first ICBM at the full range last month.
Kim Yo-Jung responded swiftly, ” If Moon Jae-In opts for a military assault against us, then we are left with no choice except for a nuclear confrontation and we will wipe out South Korea. We do not want war however if anyone threatens our security we will dutifully eliminate the entire army in one strike. And their armed forces are no match to ours.”
This month North Korea will celebrate the 110th anniversary of its founder Kim Il-Sung who was the grandfather of current incumbent Kim Jung-Un.
