Israel’s Defense Minister Israel Katz issued a stark warning on Wednesday, declaring that Hamas will face annihilation and Gaza will be destroyed if it does not accept Israel’s conditions for ending the war.
Writing on X, Katz outlined the terms, which include the release of all hostages held by Hamas and the group’s complete disarmament.
“If the Hamas murderers and rapists do not accept Israel’s conditions for ending the war, foremost among them the release of all the hostages and their disarmament – they will be annihilated and Gaza will be destroyed,” Katz stated, stressing Israel’s readiness to strike its enemies “anywhere.”
His remarks came a day after Israel struck a Hamas delegation in Doha, escalating tensions further. In response, the United Nations Security Council has scheduled an emergency meeting for today at 9 pm CET to address the deteriorating situation.
The warning underscores Israel’s uncompromising stance as the conflict deepens, with both regional stability and global diplomatic efforts hanging in the balance.
