Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has confirmed the killing of Mohammed Sinwar, the de facto Hamas chief in Gaza and younger brother of slain leader Yahya Sinwar. Known as “The Shadow,” Sinwar was one of the most wanted figures in Israel’s crosshairs.
He was reportedly killed in an airstrike targeting a tunnel in Khan Younis earlier this month. His death marks a major blow to Hamas’s leadership in the region.
