In a related development, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced the successful targeting of Rateb Abu Sahiban, the commander of Hamas’ naval forces in the Gaza City Brigade, in an overnight airstrike. Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, IDF Spokesman, confirmed that the military is progressing through the stages of the conflict in Gaza, with ground forces actively involved in operations within the Gaza Strip.
