Remote data transmission from a monitoring system installed at the Chernobyl site in Ukraine has been disrupted. This information was given by the UN Nuclear Watchdog. Russia had occupied Chernobyl only last month.

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said, “It has been indicated by the Director-General that the Safeguard Monitoring System installed at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant is unable to receive transmission data, so communication has been lost there.” This Safeguard system is installed to track nuclear material.

All the nuclear power plants in the world are monitored by the International Atomic Energy Agency. The consequences of any major attack on a nuclear plant can be dire. The accident that happened at the Chernobyl nuclear plant in the 80s was due to the instability of the plant during testing and the extreme rise in temperature. The roof of the Chernobyl plant was also blown up in this blast. In such a situation, the biggest danger is the increase in radiation. The waste generated after the blast can kill people.

However Chernobyl itself, then only two people were killed in the explosion in a surprising way. But after this, the radiation spread took the lives of about 30 people within a month. It is noteworthy that after this explosion, thousands of tons of sand were thrown from the air to cover its waste. It took a long time to control the radiation here.
