The iPhone 16 is set to receive its first dose of Apple Intelligence with the iOS 18.1 update launching on October 28.
The iPhone SE 4 is expected to bring a significant design overhaul, a transition to USB-C charging, and improved camera capabilities. Set for a spring 2025 release, it promises to offer modern features while maintaining an affordable price point.
This new feature, however, will allow users to perform the recovery entirely wirelessly, provided they have access to another Apple device running iOS 18 or later.
Apple’s Visual Intelligence feature, showcased at the iPhone 16 event, allows users to scan their surroundings to identify objects and retrieve information. This feature could be a key step toward Apple’s much-anticipated AR glasses, enabling seamless real-time information gathering and integration with Apple’s app ecosystem.
Preorders for Apple’s new iPhone 16, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, and 16 Pro Max are now open, with the devices set to launch on September 20th. The new models feature updated processors, a Camera Control button, and enhanced camera systems, though the iPhone 16 lacks the 120Hz refresh rate.
Additionally, the new model offers improved thermal management and faster data transfer capabilities, addressing some of the technical shortcomings seen in previous iterations.
Apple’s new video editing feature in iOS 18 allows iPhone users to adjust playback speeds after recording. This function is available on all iPhones running iOS 18, not just the latest iPhone 16 models. Additionally, iOS 18 introduces the Repair Assistant tool for configuring replaced iPhone parts.
