BTS’s SUGA is setting an inspiring example with his philanthropic work. The singer-songwriter has helped create a platform for children to showcase their talent through a special concert at Yonsei University. Tickets are now live, and all proceeds will go to the Min Yoongi Treatment Center, named in his honor.
Severance Hospital recently opened the Min Yoongi Treatment Center after the BTS member donated 5 billion KRW. The center will host the first concert by the MIND Band, called Shining MINDs, on December 9. Children from the center’s MIND Program, which supports kids on the autism spectrum, will perform. SUGA personally helped launch the music program, attending sessions, teaching classes, and guiding the children himself.
Adding to the excitement, the SUGA Crew—the live band that accompanied him on his Agust D Tour—will perform at the concert. While it’s not confirmed, fans are hopeful SUGA might make an appearance during the show. Tickets are priced at 20,000 KRW, about 13.7 USD, as shared by the treatment center’s director.
Since his discharge from military service, SUGA has mostly stayed out of the public eye. He was seen in Los Angeles with BTS working on their new album, rumored for a March 2026 release. The group recently finished recording and is revising their content. Fans can expect a global tour in 2026 following the album release.
This concert is a unique chance to support kids on the autism spectrum while enjoying music inspired by SUGA’s care and dedication.
