K pop star and actress Nana went through a frightening experience on November 15. She was at her home in Guri with her mother when a man in his thirties broke in. He forced his way inside and threatened them with a weapon. He demanded money. Nana who has trained in martial arts acted fast. With her mother’s help she managed to overpower him and call the police right away.
Reports say the incident happened at her home in Gyeonggi Province. Nana and the intruder ended up in a physical fight. She received minor injuries while defending herself. Her mother was also hurt. After they held the man down the police arrived and arrested him on the spot. Both Nana and her mother were taken to the hospital to get checked for injuries.
Her agency SUBLIME spoke to Maeil Kyungjae and confirmed the attempted armed robbery. They said the situation was extremely dangerous. They shared that Nana’s mother suffered serious injuries from the struggle and even lost consciousness. Nana was also injured while trying to get out of the dangerous moment. The agency said both of them now need treatment and complete rest. They also explained that the details of the case are still under investigation so many parts cannot be revealed yet. What is known is that around six in the morning a man broke into a luxury villa in Acheon dong Guri si and was taken down by two women. He also suffered injuries in the fight.
