In his inaugural address as the 47th president of the United States, Donald Trump laid out a vision to make America a global manufacturing powerhouse once again. He emphasized leveraging the country’s vast oil and gas reserves to strengthen energy independence and boost exports.

“America will be a manufacturing nation once again, and we have something that no other manufacturing nation will ever have—the largest amount of oil and gas of any country on earth,” Trump declared, pledging to utilize these resources to lower prices, replenish strategic reserves, and export energy worldwide.

Trump also announced the immediate repeal of the Green New Deal and the revocation of the electric vehicle mandate. These actions, he stated, aim to protect the American auto industry and fulfill his commitment to the nation’s workers.

“We will be a rich nation again, and it is that liquid gold under our feet that will help us do it,” Trump said, reaffirming his promise to prioritize American jobs and industry in his administration’s economic policies.
