Candace Owens has begun expressing fresh doubts after the death of Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA. She said she has not found any proof that Charlie’s wife, Erika Kirk, has lied about anything. Owens shared these thoughts while speaking on Myron Gaines’ podcast.
Owens said that one day before Charlie died, he had sent a message to someone inside Turning Point USA about a death threat. She said this detail made her even more worried about what might have been happening inside the organisation.
While talking about Erika, Owens said that some people online think Erika looks distant or cold. But Owens believes this can happen when someone is in shock. She said Erika might be acting on autopilot because she is grieving and overwhelmed.
Owens also said that anyone would be terrified after seeing someone they love get murdered. She added that in all her digging, she has found nothing bad or suspicious about Erika herself.
However, Owens then brought up a very controversial theory. She said that two Egyptian military aircraft showed up in travel logs that matched with Erika’s travel history seventy three times between 2022 and 2025. One of those matches was on the same day Charlie was shot at Provo Airport. Owens claimed that a source helping her study the flight routes thinks these aircraft may have been following Erika rather than Charlie. She said this raises very troubling questions about what the couple was facing.
Owens also said she does not fully believe the official story about the shooter, a man named Tyler Robinson. She suggested he might have been a scapegoat and that other people could have handled the gun before it was used. She said her doubts are not about Erika as a person but about the strange circumstances around Charlie’s sudden death and what the aircraft pattern might mean.
Owens ended by saying there are still many unanswered questions. She called for a much deeper investigation so the truth can come out.
