Lindsey Langston, who was crowned Miss United States in October 2024 and also serves as a Republican state committee member in Florida, has filed a police report accusing U.S. Representative Cory Mills of threatening to release explicit videos and images of her.

Langston filed the report on July 14 with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Department. She told police that the threats began after she broke up with Mills earlier this year. The two had been in a relationship for more than three years before splitting in February 2025.

According to the report, Mills began contacting her repeatedly through different accounts, threatening to leak private photos and videos, including footage of them during intimate moments. Langston also said he threatened to harm any men she might date in the future.

One text message included in the police file shows Mills allegedly writing, “You want to date or be with someone else. Be my guest. But they need to know well in advance that if we cross paths, I don’t care this week, this month, or this decade. They better damn well know it’s coming every time.” Langston gave law enforcement these texts as part of her complaint.

Mills has denied all the allegations. In a statement to Politico, he said he hasn’t been officially notified of any claims by police or Langston. He insists the accusations are false and that he has always acted with integrity in both his personal life and as a public servant representing Florida’s 7th District.

The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the case is being reviewed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Langston has also reportedly filed a restraining order against Mills.

This situation comes at a complicated time for the congressman. The breakup reportedly happened right after Langston learned about another accusation against Mills. He was accused of assaulting a woman at a Washington, D.C. apartment on February 19. Though no charges were filed, the incident adds to the growing controversy around him.

Mills, who is known as a strong ally of Donald Trump, is rumoured to be preparing a run for Marco Rubio’s Senate seat in 2026. These new allegations may complicate his political plans as they continue to unfold in public view.
