On July 6, Vasudeva Maiya was found dead in his car in the city of Bengaluru as reported by the officers. The investigations on this case are ongoing currently to track out the actual happening and cause of the same.
As reported by News 18, The former CEO died by suicide.
The bank offices were raided by Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) on June 18 in relation to alleged misappropriation of Rs 1400 Crore and the police also conducted searches at residences of Late – Vasudeva Maiya and the Bank’s chairman K Ramakrishna.
