Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tests positive for COVID-19

Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel, Dharmendra Pradhan, tested positive for the novel Coronavirus on Tuesday. He has been admitted to Medanta Hospital in Haryana’s Gurugram.

Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel, Dharmendra Paradhan, tested positive for the novel Coronavirus on Tuesday. CNN News18 reported that the minister was admitted to Medanta Hospital immediately after the test results came out positive.

This news comes in two days after the Union Home Minister, Amit Shah, tested positive for the COVID-19 infection and was admitted to the same Gurugram hospital.

As per India TV, Pradhan was already in isolation officials from his staff tested positive for the virus.

The Coronavirus infection has started to spread like wildfire amongst the Bhartiya Janata Party ministers. Other COVID-19 infected persons include, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and the party chief from Uttar Pradesh, Swatantra Dev Singh.
