Trump attacks Kamala Harris, calls her the ‘meanest’ US senator

The U.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday that he was surprised that Democrat Biden picked Kamala Harris as his vice presidential candidate as she had been ‘nasty’ to him in the presidential debates. Minutes after Biden announced his decision Trump tweeted an ad campaign that called her ‘phony’ for criticizing Biden’s racist policies during the primaries.

Trump attacked Harris for questioning Bret Kavanaugh over his the sexual misconduct charge .“I thought she was the meanest, the most horrible, the most disrespectful of anybody in the U.S. Senate,” Trump said during a press conference yesterday.


The video states that ‘voters rejected Harris’ and that she did ‘poorly in primaries.’ ‘Slow Joe and phony Kamala. Perfect together, wrong for America,’ ‘jointly embracing the radical left,’ were the rest of the things said in the ad.

Harris created history by becoming the first black woman and person of Indian descent to get a major presidential party ticket. She had won the California statewide elections 3 times elections three times. Earlier she was the San Francisco district attorney and then elected as the attorney general. A white house administrative official said that Harris was an expected pick and that no one is surprised by Biden’s announcement of her as his running mate according to an NBC news report.
