ED raids AAP MP Sanjay Singh’s residence
Sanjay Singh, a Member of Parliament from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has been arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in connection with a case related to Delhi’s excise policy. This arrest was made following a raid conducted by the ED at Singh’s residence. The case is part of a larger investigation into alleged irregularities in Delhi’s liquor policy. Singh is the third AAP leader to be arrested in this case.
ED summons Ranbir Kapoor in Mahadev Betting App Case
The Enforcement Directorate has issued a summons to Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor on Wednesday, in relation to the Mahadev Betting app case. According to the ED, Kapoor had a role in endorsing the app. Kapoor is slated to appear before the ED on October 6, 2023, as part of the ongoing investigation into financial irregularities surrounding the app’s endorsement.
Record-Breaking performance by India at Asian Games 2023

RBI has appointed Muneesh Kapur as its new Executive Director effective from October 3, 2023. Previously the Adviser-in-Charge of the Monetary Policy Department, Kapur will now oversee the Department of Economic and Policy Research. He brings nearly three decades of experience in macroeconomic policy and research within RBI.
AF receives first-ever twin seater LCA Tejas from HAL
The Indian Air Force (IAF) has welcomed a new member to its fleet – the first twin-seater Tejas, courtesy of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). This versatile aircraft can be used for both training and combat, placing India in an elite group of nations with such capabilities. Eight more such aircraft are expected to join the IAF in 2023-24.
Tragedy strikes in Satna District, MP
In a tragic incident, a three-storey building in Satna district of Madhya Pradesh gave way during renovation work. The unfortunate event, which took place around midnight, resulted in one person losing their life and five others sustaining injuries. Rescue operations are currently in progress to assist those who may still be trapped under the rubble.
