1) Lepchajagat:

It is located near Darjeeling and equally beautiful as that. If you want to enjoy nature in peace, escaping from the hustle and bustle of Darjeeling, you should come to this place. Lepchajagat is basically a small village, inhabited by Lepcha tribes. Jorpokhri, Manebhanjan, Old ghoom monastry are some of the nearby tourist spots.

2) Taki:

It is a quiet, green town near the Bangladesh border. There are old Zamindar mansion and temples which witnessed the glorifying past of Bengal. Boat ride on the river Ichamati will be a special experience for the tourists as they will find boats from Bangladesh sailing along them over the same river. Bagan bari is a wonderful guest house to lodge here. As everybody knows, Bengalis live by fish and sweets, and you will get plenty of both here! Located in Purulia district, Duarshini is a forest of Palash and Ahal trees. Bear, elephant, hayana are some of the wild animals found here. Satgurang river flows across the jungle. In one word, this woodland is incredible.

4) Pakhi pahar:

The meaning of this Bengali name is bird’s hill. A group of sculptures have carved the bare rock to create about 65 birds in a span of more than 20 years. It is an attraction for rock climbers too.
