The SGX Nifty signals a flat start with a positive bias for the Sensex, Nifty today. Cues from US markets remained muted as Dow Jones, S&P 500 and Nasdaq ended flat overnight. Markets in India are building onto gains as every small dip is getting bought into and the momentum remains bullish unless we see a big negative close, said experts.
Top stocks to watch today are Bank of Baroda, IRB Infra, Fusion MFI, Schaeffler India, besides others.
Bank of Baroda: Bank of Baroda on Monday released its provisional business numbers for the first time. The bank’s global gross advances grew by 19% YoY. Deposits for the bank stood at Rs 12,03,604 crore, up 15.1% on a year-on-year basis and 4.7% sequentially.
IRB Infra: The highway construction company will be in focus on the back of their strong business update. The company’s toll collections for the month of March grew 20.6% YoY at Rs 369.9 crore against Rs 306.6 crore in the same period last year.
Fusion MFI: Fusion MFI will be in major focus today as they saw a solid momentum in their disbursals, growing 8.4% sequentially and 12.6% YoY at Rs 2,372 crore. Borrowers for Fusion MFI stood at Rs 35 lakhs, higher by 29.6% on a year-on-year basis.
Schaeffler India: Ball and rolling bearing manufacturer will trade ex-dividend April 11 onwards, the final dividend announced by the company is Rs 24 per share.
