South Film Industry star Chiranjeevi Sarja passed away yesterday afternoon after suffering a heart attack. The entire industry just couldn’t believe it, entire industry was taken aback with the shocking news. While the entire industry has been in shock. Family of the ‘Sandalwood star’ has decided to hold the funeral today at 2 pm at their farmhouse near Kanakapura, Bangalore.
Yesterday the actor was immediately taken to the hospital after complaint of difficulty in breathing, where he passed away from a heart attack. The body was handed over to the family by the hospital authorities yesterday itself, and the last rites will be performed today. In the light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police has advised that only up to 150 people can be part of the funeral.
Fans can bid the actor goodbye until noon. The time to perform the rites would be postponed if number of people coming to visit is too high. After some confusion over the burial of the body, Dhruva Sarja and the family finally decided to bury Chiranjeevi Sarja’s body at their own farmhouse, so that the actor’s presence can always be felt.
According to sources, Earlier the sources suggested that the family wanted to bury the body near his grandfather Shakti Prasad’s grave at Jakkenahalli in Madhugiri taluk of Tumkur district. However, now they will do it at the farmhouse near Kanakapura, Banglore.
