
Sonali Phogat the Bigg Boss season 14 participant, the winner of 2019 Haryana election from Adampur as a BJP candidate, against the Congress leader Kuldeep Bishnoi, passed away Monday 22nd August due to cardiac arrest at the age of 42.
She was informed of feeling unwell at ‘Curlies’ restaurant in Anjuna and was then taken to St Anthony hospital in North Goa.
The news of her sudden demise left everyone speechless and her nearer ones extended their last wishes to her.
The wild card participant of Bigg Boss season 14 shared a good bond with Aly Goni, Rubina Dilaik who conveyed their condolence on Twitter.
Aly Goni shared a broken heart emoji and Rubina Dilaik wrote, “Deeply saddened with the news! May your soul rest in peace Sonali Phogat!” and her husband Abinav Shukla wrote “Saddened & disheartened at very untimely demise of Sonali ji. Heartfelt sympathies & prayers for her daughter! Life is unpredictable. Reminds me again of the quote ‘Live life like its your last’ because one day you going to be right! Om Shanti!”.
Goa Police Chief Jaspal Singh states “There are no external injury marks on the body,” while senior police official Jivba Dalvi said, “Prime facie, the cause of death is established as heart attack but further medical examination is on,”. Reported, Mr Bishnoi who joined the BJP and resigned as an MLA last month had met with Sonali Phogat last week.
Sonali Phogat had her first debut as a TV anchor in the year 2006 before joining BJP. She made her debut in acting in 2016 with the TV show ‘Amma: Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma’. Then roled in the web series, ‘The Story Of Badmashgarh’ in 2019.
