Raj Kundra was arrested on 19th Jul 2021 by Mumbai Police for masterminding the production of porn films for mobile apps. Since then he has been under police custody not until 18 August when Bombay High Court ordered Interim Protection to Raj Kundra from arrest. Actresses such as Sherlyn Chopra and Gehana Vashisth were summoned to record their statements as witnesses. But the trouble was not only for him even Shilpa and his children were bullied and trolled on social media. The controversy regarding Shilpa also being a part of the scandal led to her eviction from the panel of judges on the dancing reality show, Super Dancer Chapter 4.
