The news of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 to go on-air is not new where the promo of this upcoming daily-soap starring Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Gopi Modi was released by Star Plus. Earlier, it was speculated that Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 is going to make a way for this forthcoming show but now as per the recent development, another TV-serial is going off-air giving its prime time to Saathiya. None other than Shaheer Sheikh and Rhea Sharma’s show ‘Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke‘ is coming to an end.
“Those associated with the show has had an enriching and satisfying journey during its course. It was coming together of a great team — be it the actors, crew or technicians. The team had great synergy. While the journey is coming to an end, we welcome the decision with a smile, as ‘YRHPK’ has been all about optimism and positivity,” producer Rajan Shahi confirmed in a statement to Bombay Times.
The show is spin-off a hugely popular show ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ starring Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan as lead actors. Producer Rajan Shahi concluded saying, “It had a good run and we have created some great memories. The show has become a brand in itself and you never know, we might reunite later. I, too, learnt about the decision to wrap it up today. However, we will continue to shoot the way we have been — with the same energy and enthusiasm ..— till we bid adieu to the audience,” as put by BT.
