Riteish captioned the shared picture as, “20 years ago, today… when it all started….
मी जे करतो त्याला प्रेम नाही ‘वेड’ म्हणतात. (What I feel for you is not LOVE, it’s MADNESS)”

Riteish says, “Being with you is the greatest blessing of my life. Sharing laughter, tears, joy, struggles, fears, happiness, we have walked these miles holding each other’s hands, a step at a time.
With you by my side, I feel I could do anything”. Thank you for being you.

About their first meeting Riteish once shared, “I was flying to Hyderabad for the test shoot of Tujhe Meri Kasam and I was told that the girl opposite me would be there. I walked out of the airport and met Genelia’s mom. Then I saw this tall girl looking in the opposite direction, completely ignoring me. I was like, ‘Why is she behaving like this?’ Genelia (butts in): I did say, ‘Hi!’ I’d found out two days before that he was the Chief Minister’s son so I assumed he was a spoilt brat… a typical politician’s son… so I thought I’d give him attitude before he did! (laughs) Otherwise, I am shy and reserved by nature.”

Genelia further added, “The minute I spoke to him, I realized he was a nice person. On the set, Riteish binds people. I didn’t know anything about films then but he made it look so easy. Also, I found it endearing how he was so respectful of my parents and elders. Riteish: Itni taareef maine apne bare mein itne saalon mein nahin suni hai!”

Besides, they did a number of movies together. Some of them are:- Tujhe Meri Kasam, Masti, Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya and many more.

Riteish Deshmukh and his wife Genelia D’Souza revealed on Friday that they will star in a Hindi film called ‘Mister Mummy.’ Shaad Ali, the director of ‘Bunty Aur Babli,’ is directing the comedy-drama, which is produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series, Krishna Kumar, Ali, and Siva Ananth.
