Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s prime minister candidate Shah Mahmood Qureshi expressed his displeasure and decided to walk out of the election to pick a new premier to head Pakistan after Imran Khan resigned following losing the no-trust vote. Qureshi addressed the floor, citing that the nation is today headed towards two paths. One leads toward self-respect while the other leads to slavery. Qureshi also clarified that his party will boycott the election scheduled to pick a new Pakistan PM.

Former IT minister, Fawad Chaudhry, too, has clarified that all the PTI lawmakers would resign to opt-out of the formation of the government that seeks western help. The objections raised by PTI were rejected by the National Assembly Secretariat to approve the nomination papers filed by Shehbaz Sharif. Pakistan has been struggling with a balanced approach in their political nature ever since it was formed in 1947.
