Multiple flights from several locations to Mumbai has been delayed due to heavy rains in the city, which has caused low visibility and sheer wind.
As per a report from Mid Day, citing sources from ATC, it has been revealed that over 30 incoming aircrafts have been conveyed the message of delay ahead of its take off. If the visibility drops more, the operations on runway level will also have to be suspended.
Meanwhile, the aircrafts already in air and inbound to Mumbai are already informed about the weather conditions and have been advised to be prepared for a diversion to their alternate if weather condition worsens.
