Motorola and Realme recently released two of the latest smartphones on almost the same day. The companies have crossed paths in terms of the physical attribute of their respective products. However, there seems to a vast gap in terms of the price.
We have analysed the two products, which were launched with gap of just one day, Motorola Edge 30 Fusion and Realme C33. We shall discuss about the different features such as camera, memory and others.
Body
Motorola Edge 30 Fusion is 158.5 x 72 x 7.5 mm in size that weighs 168 to 175 grams. The phone is built with gorilla glass 5 on the front and back and covered with aluminum frame. It supports single Nano-SIM or dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). It is also splash and dust resistant.
Realme C33 is larger in size as the dimensions are 164.2 x 75.7 x 8.3 mm with weight of 187 grams. The phone is built with glass in the front and frame and back of plastic. It supports dual SIM (Nano-SIM).
Display
Motorola Edge 30 Fusion has P-OLED technology for display of 1100 nits of brightness and refreshing speed of 144 Hz. The display size is 6.55 inches with 90.8% screen-to-body ratio. It has resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and protection of corning gorilla glass 5.
Realme C33 has IPS LCD technology for display with brightness of 400 nits. The display size is almost similar at 6.5 inches with 82.1% screen-to-body ratio. The resolution is 720 x 1600 pixels.
Platform
Motorola Edge 30 Fusion has operating system of Android 12, which can be upgraded to Android 13. It has chipset of Qualcomm SM8350 Snapdragon 888+ 5G and CPU of octa-core (1×2.99 GHz).
Realme C33 also supports operating system Android 12. It has chipset of Unisoc Tiger T612 and octa-core CPU of 2×1.8 GHz.
Memory
Motorola Edge 30 Fusion has internal storage up to 512 GB. It has 128 GB for 8 GB RAM, 256 GB for 8 GB RAM, 256 GB for 12 GB RAM, 512 GB for 12 GB RAM. It does not allow expanding the storage space.
Realme C33 has internal storage of 32 GB with RAM of 3 GB. It is also expected to have internal storage of 64 GB and 128 GB with 4 GB RAM. The phone also allows expanding the storage space as it provides a dedicated micro SDXC slot.
Camera
Motorola Edge 30 Fusion has three main camera modules – 50 MP f/1.8 (wide), 13 MP f/2.2 (ultrawide), 2 MP f/2.4 (depth) – with features of LED flash, panorama, and HDR. The video quality is 8K @ 30 frames per second (fps), 4K @ 30 fps, 1080p @ 30/60/120 fps, 720p @ 960 fps. The selfie camera is 32 MP f/2.5 (wide) with HDR feature. The video quality is 4K @ 30fps and 1080 @ 30 fps.
Realme C33 has two main cameras – 50 MP (wide) and 0.3 MP f/2.8 (depth) – with LED flash, HDR and panorama features. The video quality is 1080 @ 30 fps. The front camera is 5 MP f/2.2 (wide) with HDR feature and video quality of 720p @ 30 fps.
Battery
Motorola Edge 30 Fusion has lithium polymer batter of 4400 mAh. The non-removable battery is expected to charge 50% in 10 minutes with 68W wired charging.
Realme C33 has rather powerful battery of 5000 mAh. The non-removable lithium polymer battery supports 10W wired charging.
