The fire caused heavy smoke to fill the entire mall complex, a G+3 floored structure. Firefighters operated three small hose lines connected to 12 motor pumps to contain the blaze. Multiple agencies, including BMC’s MFB, Ward Staff, Mumbai Police, Adani Electricity Distribution Company, and Public Works Department (PWD), were on-site to assist in operations.
Senior officers including the Chief Fire Officer (CFO), Deputy CFO, Divisional Fire Officer (DFO), Assistant Divisional Fire Officers (ADFOs), and several Station Officers (SOs) were deployed. Equipment such as turntable ladders, quick response vehicles, breathing apparatus units, and ambulances were mobilized for the operation.
As of the latest updates, there have been no reports of injuries. Further assessment regarding the extent of damage is awaited.
Authorities continue efforts to fully extinguish the fire and secure the premises.
