For a city like Mumbai where local trains are considered the lifeline, an image showing the significance that local trains hold for those staying in Mumbai has gone all kinds of viral. The picture has grabbed heartfelt attention of many, including business tycoon Anand Mahindra who re-shared the post on the social media platform.

Mahindra wrote, “The soul of India… I pray we never lose it,” while re-sharing the picture where a man bowing before a local train in Mumbai can be seen which was originally shared by Himanshu Parmar. Soon, people flooded both the posts with heartfelt comments.

The Coronavirus pandemic had hit the local train services which had never stopped running since the time it began. For the past few months, the services for the general public were restricted in the wake of the pandemic. However, on Monday, the services were resumed after eleven months.
