The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education (MSBSHE) is set to announce the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) i.e. Class results. The board will be announcing the results at PM on the official website mahresult.nic.in. An SMS alert announcing the same has also been assured by several news websites like Hindustan Times, FirstPost, etc.
The state board examinations were conducted from February 18 to March 18. The exams, fortunately, concluded before the nationwide lock down imposed due to Coronavirus pandemic.
As reported by Hindustan Times, over 15 lakh students had registered for the HSC examinations. Out of these, 3.39 lakh student hail from Mumbai division which also includes Thane, Raigad and Palghar. Over 1900 students with special needs had also registered to appear for the examination this year.
As a major move towards digitization, the Maharashtra Board has moved the revaluation process online this year. This is also in view of the current health situation in the state. The students can apply for photocopy between July 17 and August 5 and thus post that can apply for revaluation if they wish to do so. The application for revaluation can be submitted between July 17 and July 27. The application fee for these requests can be paid online by the students.
As per Times Now, the MSBSHE chairperson, Shakunatala Kale, stated that the results for Class 10 board examinations would be announced by the end of July.
the results for Maharashtra Board come in after several state boards and the Central education boards announced the results for Class 10 and 12 board examinations. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) announced the results for Class 10 board examinations just yesterday, and two days after announcing the results for Class 12 board examinations.
