From the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s family, six members reportedly died in a road accident on Tuesday morning in the Lakhisarai district of Bihar.
The vehicle the family members were traveling in, collided with a truck on National Highway number 333.
According to media sources, it was on Sheikhpura-Sikandra road in Pipra village in Bihar that the accident took place. Around 6:10 in the morning on Tuesday, this sad incident was surpassed. The impact was so heavy that that SUV was in a crumpled state after the head-on collision. The driver of the truck and his helper seemed to have managed to flee from the accident spot.
The accident included two women victims, who were returning from Patna to their native village of Jamui.
Halsi Circle Officer Vivek Kumar spoke about the situation, “As the Suv is badly mangled after the intense impact, we had to use an iron cutter to pull the bodies out from the car. The injured persons now have been taken to the Dardar hospital.
The vehicle comprised of six members, from which four occupants who suffered serious injuries are currently undergoing treatment at a local hospital, states the Superintendent of Police, Sushil Kumar.
Further investigation is on its way along with a case that has been reportedly registered.
