Erica Fernandes who plays the role of Prerna in Ekta Kapoor‘s Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, will return to set after shooting from home. She went to opt for shooting for home, since her co-star Parth Samthaan (Anurag) tested positive for COVID-19 on July 12. Since, then the shoot was halted until all the other crew members underwent the test for coronavirus. After 3 days, the shooting resumed all the other actors except Parth Samthaan, Erica Fernandes and Aamna Shariff reported to the set.
Parth was in self-isolation, where Aamna had to stay back as her staff member tested positive. Erica continued shooting from her home. Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Erica said, “I tested negative, but the testing was done at an early stage. So, I wanted to wait for a few more days, get another test done after 10 days and then get back to the set. But since we were already on air, we had to continue work and this is the best way forward.”
She further talked about her struggles of shooting from her home and how she has to multitask. She added, “But I have an online channel for which I used to do everything on my own and that experience is coming in handy since it taught me intricacies of handling a camera, fixing the lights, monitoring the sound and getting dressed up on my own. My only challenge has been not having my co-star in front and having to imagine how the other person will react.”
On the other hand, fans wants to see Parth back on the show, who is currently in Pune. He tested negative for coronavirus and is now ready to be back on the set.
