Social media went into a frenzy on August 30 as the phrase “Trump is dead” trended on X, sparking confusion and panic among users. The baseless rumor claimed that U.S. President Donald Trump had passed away, but the chatter has now been shut down — thanks to an unlikely source.

Online streamer Adin Ross, during a Kick livestream, told his viewers that he had received a direct confirmation from none other than Barron Trump, the President’s 19-year-old son. Ross exclaimed mid-stream, “Guys! I just got confirmed, President Trump is okay by a very close [source] — literally nothing’s wrong.” He clarified that the text came from Barron himself, putting to rest the swirling speculation.

The rumor appeared to gain momentum after Vice President JD Vance’s recent “terrible tragedy” remark in an interview and Trump’s weekend absence from public events. This fueled conspiracy theories online, especially as images of his hand bruise and past health updates resurfaced.

However, with Barron Trump stepping in behind the scenes to deny the chatter, the viral claims have been debunked. Despite the social media storm, Donald Trump remains alive, and the White House has made no announcements suggesting otherwise.
