Prayagraj division of North Central Railways has made a track cycle for inspection staff at a cost of Rs 3000. Indian Railways has innovated a Rail Bicycle so that the staffs can quickly travel on the Rail tracks for inspection, monitoring and urgent repairs.
“It is very much confertable and convenient to travel with four people on this bicycle. This will help in reducing the response time to mitigate track issues and problems”, said Ajit Singh, Railways CPRO.
Sometimes the situation becomes too bad and conjusted, specially during monsoon season situation is quite difficult, causing unwanted detention of train services. With the support of Railway Bicycle, any emergency location can now be easily reached for urgent repairs.
With the help of Railway Bicycle the inspection of vulnerable and weaker places which occurred due to various ways specially due to rainy reason becomes easier by the the Railway staff and also can be repaired in short span of life.
