“Central government-media are working 24 hours”: Manish Sisodia tweets, referring to media’s sole attention to arrest of Rhea Chakraborty

Taking to Twitter on Sunday, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia made a backhanded tweet wherein he accuses certain government-media of diverting the attention of people from a multitude of important issues and focussing on the arrest of actor Rhea Chakraborty and her family in connection with the suicide of Sushant Simgh Rajput.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday, Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia made a backhanded tweet wherein he accuses certain government-media of diverting the attention of people from a multitude of important issues and focussing on the arrest of actor Rhea Chakraborty and her family in connection with the suicide of Sushant Simgh Rajput.

“China has left our land, the economy has been 5 tr, croresof jobs have come, the farmer traders have made all the profits, Swachh Bharat, Digital-Skill India have been succesful. There is only one problem left in the country – the whole of Riya’s family is not arrested. Central governemnt-media are working 24 hours,” he wrote on Twitter

The case has been dominating the headlines of a number of so called national media since long with emphasis on the arrest of Rhea Chakraborty and several other accusations against her and her family. Rhea’s father, a retired military medic, had also issued a moving statement saying “Congratulations to Indiawhile condemning the arrest of his 24-year-old son Showik Chakraborty by the Office of narcotics control. Sisodia’s tweet comes after this incident saying that the the governement-media is working 24 hours just for ensuring the arrest of Rhea and her family which is the only issue pertaining in this nation.

The AAP leader has also been critical of the government in other issues such as its decision to conduct JEE, NEET amidst the pandemic.
