Bhavesh Gupta has been appointed as Paytm lending business new CEO which operated under One97 communication Ltd. Here he will work to develop and enlarge its lending services supporting it’s potential of creating new credit product for customers and SMEs. Last week Paytm also appointed Varun Sridhar as the new CEO of its Management branch.

Gupta has also served as the founding member and CEO of Clix Capital, where his focus was on diversifying Non-bank financial company in the arena of digital consumer and MSMEs lending space. Prior to this he also worked in and as head -SME and  banking business of IDFC bank for two years addingly he also contributed more than a decade at ICICI Bank at senior level for both liabilities and lending side of the the business.

Presently in the lending business Paytm is offering Paytm First Credit Card, Paytm Postpaid, personal loans and merchant cash loans by collaborating with NBFCs and banks.

Last month Paytm announced to extend its Paytm Postpaid a consumer lending product to offline so that people can avoid withdrawing cash to meet their household expenditure.
