At a time when the whole world is devoted towards finding a vaccine to bring an end to the Coronavirus vaccine, the Union Minister for State, Parliamentary Affairs and Heavy Industries, Arjun Ram Meghwal advocated a Papar brand, which he claimed can boost anti-bodies to fight Coronavirus.
A law graduate and a minster with the current BJP government, Meghwal, in a video which has gone viral on social media, can be heard claiming that ‘Bhabhiji Papar’ can boost a person’s immunity system to fight the COVID-19 infection.
“Under the Atmanirbhar Bharat, a manufacturer has produced Papar with the name of ‘Bhabhiji Papad’ and it will be very helpful in fighting Coronavirus. My best wishes to them and I hope they will succeed”, quoted the minister in a video.

This claim comes amidst a point where Virology institutes, pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions and many other stakeholders have devoted all their resources in conducting multiple trials to increase the anti-bodies and strengthen the human immune system.
The company which has manufactured this incredible Papar, is based out of Bikaner, Rajasthan. The company claims that the product has immunity boosting ingredients such as gilloy, which can help fight the Coronavirus, as reported by India TV.
This news comes just a month after the Yoga icon Baba Ramdev’s company Patanjali claimed that its product ‘Coronil’ is a cure for the COVID-19 infection. However, after the intervention of the AYUSH ministry, the product had to be sold as an “immunity booster” and not as a “cure” for the infection. This decision by the ministry was announced after a launch event organized by Patanjali to announce that the “medical marvel” that they had achieved.
