In West Bengal, counting of votes is currently in progress, for the recently concluded assembly elections after eight phases of voting. Trinamool Congress (TMC) strategist Prashant Kishor previously claimed that the BJP would struggle to “CROSS DOUBLE DIGITS in West Bengal” and asked the Twitteraties to save the tweet asserting that he would quit Twitter if BJP does any better.

“For all the hype AMPLIFIED by a section of supportive media, in reality, BJP will struggle to CROSS DOUBLE DIGITS in #WestBengal

PS: Please save this tweet and if BJP does any better I must quit this space!”, TMC leader Prashant Kishor had said in a tweet last year.

However, considering the initial trends in the counting of votes in Bengal, TMC was leading in 117 seats and BJP in 109 seats.

Now, the TMC leader Prashant Kishor seems to be in trouble for his claims as he has been trending on Twitter for the past several minutes now. Netizens targeted Kishor for his claims and couldn’t hold back tweeting about the same.

A storm of memes is already being stirred on Twitter and it continues to get closer to the TMC strategist as BJP continues to cross the double-digit mark.
