Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday are very close friends. Awaiting the premiere of her next Netflix movie, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Ananya revealed how Sara once interrupted a wedding reception and Ananya had to get her out of it. While speaking about Kho Gaye Hum Kahan with co-star Adarsh Gourav to Pinkvilla, Ananya shared this amusing story that happened at some point last year.
“I have crashed a wedding… with Sara! It wasn’t a wedding, it was a wedding party! We were somewhere having dinner and we were walking by. We heard this like loud Hindi music playing, and Sara being Sara was like, “I am going in and dancing!’ Sara has gone in the middle of the dance floor and started dancing with uncles… and I was like dragging her off the dance floor!”, revealed Ananya.
Adarsh goes on to say that since everyone would be able to identify superstars like her right away, it must be difficult for them to crash weddings. Ananya said that it was only last year when asked when this happened.
Recently, Sara and Ananya made an appearance on a Koffee with Karan (KWK) episode. When Karan asked Sara about her past relationship with actor Karthik Aryan, and if it is easy to be friends with him regardless of their past, Sara responded saying, “I don’t want to say that ya, it’s all easy because then it comes across as a little more frivolous than it is. It isn’t always easy.”
When Sara last appeared, she was with Vicky Kaushal in Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. Murder Mubarak, Metro… In Dino, and Ae Watan Mere Watan are just a few of the films that the actor is working on.
