Punjabi Actor Deep Sindhu passed away last night in a road accident near Delhi after the vehicle he was driving, a white Scorpio, rammed into a stationary truck. Deep Sindhu was declared brought dead at the Kharkhoda Hospital in Haryana’s Sonipat.
According to sources, Deep Sindhu was travelling with partner Reena Rai. Her life was saved as she wore a seatbelt and her airbag didn’t burst.
It is also confirmed that alcohol was found in the car that Deep Sindhu was driving. While there is no confirmation of alcohol consumption by the actor. The postmortem might reveal it. Police investigation on the same has been started.

On Monday (February 14), Reena had shared images of the two celebrating Valentine’s Day on her Instagram stories. They dressed up and clicked a mirror selfie. “Happy valentines day,” read Reena’s caption.
Deep Sindhu was also a social activist. He was involved in the Republic Day violence case 2021. He had been arrested in a case relating to violence in Red Fort during the farmers’ rally on January 26. He had been in custody for about 70 days.
