The economic recession and pandemic have not hampered Bollywood’s demand for luxurious homes. Following Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Hrithik Roshan, and Amitabh Bachchan, actor Ajay Devgn has purchased a luxurious bungalow. Devgn is said to have spent over Rs 60 crore for a huge mansion in Juhu.
The house, which is 590 square yards in size, is not far from the actor’s previous home, Shakti, which is located in the Kapole Co-operative Housing Society Ltd in Juhu.
Devgn’s spokesman revealed that the actor had acquired the property on which he currently resides. However, he did not disclose the price of the home, but real estate sources did. Other celebrities who live in the area include Hrithik Roshan, Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Akshay Kumar. According to sources, the Devgns have been searching for a new house for the past year.
The agreement was reached in November-December of last year, and the house was transferred to Veena Virendra Devgn and Vishal alias Ajay Devgn by the Kapole Co-operative Housing Society on May 7. Previously, the bungalow was owned by the late Pushpa Valia. According to real estate sources, the bungalow’s current market value is roughly Rs 65 to 70 crore, but owing to the pandemic, Devgn may have purchased it for a reduced price.
According to sources, Devgan has taken control of the home and has already begun renovation work in order to redevelop his present property.
