The teenager is being praised for her “heroism” and “courage” on social media. After taking the AK-47 assault rifle from the family and killing the Taliban militants.
The girl, identified as Qamar Gul. She presumed to be between 14 and 16 years old, and her younger brother were brought to a more safe location, according to the reports.
The militant were looking for her father, who was the village chief and a government supporter as per the officials of Ghor province.The girl’s mother supposedly went to find out who was banging at their door on July 17 when she noticed several armed rebels and declined to open the gates. Militants killed her mother shortly after entering the house, and killed her father.
Revenge Kills Terrorists
Once she saw her parents shot, she picked up the AK-47 assault rifle and killed two militants. Which then became a fledged fight between the Taliban militants and the girl, alongside her 12-year-old brother. Later, some other terrorists came to assault Gul ‘s home, but they were expelled by the locals.
The governor of the district officially said they felt proud, though in pain. The photograph of the Qamar Gul carrying the gun on social media has gone viral. And the social media users are all admiration for her brave act.
