The television show, Kaun Banega Crorepati has started preparing for its 12th season. Amitabh Bachchan has been putting out videos asking registration questions for the upcoming season.

But do you know, the popular game show was once hosted with a special format for children – KBC Junior – in 2001. In which a 14-year-old of answered 15 questions correctly and won the apex prize of Rs 1 crore back then.

And on Tuesday, that 14-years-old boy, Ravi Saini took charge as the Superintendent of Police, Porbandar. It might sound like a very good Bollywood movie plot to some of you but it is true.

In his conversation with The India Express, he said, “After my schooling, I did my MBBS from Mahatma Gandhi Medical College in Jaipur. I was doing my internship after MBBS when I cleared UPSC. My father was in the navy and I joined the police force after being inspired by him.” He further said, “My role would be the implementation of lockdown in Porbandar in view of the Covid-19 pandemic. Also, the law and order situation remains our topmost priority.” Ravi secured All India rank of 461 in Indian Police services in 2014.
