On February 13, a number of Twitter users noticed an odd thing: they were seeing Elon Musk’s tweet even if they don’t follow him. Other users lamented that Musk’s tweets had clogged up their whole Twitter feed. Elon Musk responded by tweeting a screenshot from a sexual film. People have criticised the billionaire’s remark and labelled it “sexist.” Others claim that Musk is tweeting material that would have gotten them removed from Twitter if they had dared to post it.

A person from India wrote on Twitter: “An entrepreneur in the US can put such messages. People in India will boycott entrepreneurs like Ambani and Adani if they start tweeting such things. The company’s content filters, which are supposed to show consumers just the best content, are reportedly not applied to any of Musk’s posts on Twitter; instead, all of them are immediately accepted, according to Platformer. Musk’s tweets now receive an artificial 1,000-point bump thanks to new coding, which guarantees that they will always appear higher in the stream than those of everyone else.

According to the article, this is known as a “power user multiplier” internally, but it currently only pertains to Elon Musk. The method also allows Musk’s account to circumvent Twitter policies that would typically prevent one account from gaining control of the “For You” stream.
Business Upturn has been unable to officially verify the statement.
It explains why users saw that Musk dominated the Twitter feed, with a dozen or more of his tweets and replies visible to anyone who followed him and millions more to those who did not. Over 90% of Musk’s followers currently read his tweets.

While on a teleconference with Twitter engineers on February 13, he sent out a few tweets to see if the programmes they had created were working as he had anticipated. Musk subsequently tweeted, “Please stay tuned while we make tweaks to the hmm… “algorithm”,” thus hinting that the new code would be quickly pulled back. Despite the fact that the factor is no longer larger than 1,000, according to Platformer, Elon Musk’s account still receives the fictitious bump.
