Twitter Blue for Business has been introduced and is currently being rolled out to select businesses. The functionality will allow consumers and businesses to differentiate themselves from the competition. It will enable enterprises to connect their linked individuals, businesses, and brands to their accounts. When associated accounts are linked, they will receive a little badge with their parent company’s profile picture next to their blue or gold verification badge. People associated with the brand will have a square corporate badge next to a blue checkmark, while brands will have the firm name in a square badge adjacent to a golden checkmark.
Twitter revealed in a blog post that they are rolling out Twitter Blue for Business, which will allow businesses to distinguish their brands and important personnel on Twitter. According to the corporation, these accounts will have a square company badge next to their display names. However, it is currently only available to a small number of businesses. It will, however, be made available to more businesses next year.
According to the microblogging site, there is no limit to the number of people or brands who can be linked to an account by a company that has subscribed to Twitter Blue for Business. When persons or brands are linked to their parent companies, a blue check mark and a small company logo display on all associated accounts’ profiles.
According to Twitter, the new functionality would allow corporations to form networks on Twitter within their own organisations. Journalists, sports team players, and movie characters can all be associated, according to Twitter. However, on the basis of the list provided by the parent company, each affiliate will be authenticated and officially linked to their parent handle.
As of currently, Twitter has not provided pricing information for the new service. According to Twitter, any updates on pricing, criteria, or the process will be released soon. “In the future, we intend to layer more value into the offering to assist businesses and their affiliates in getting the most out of Twitter,” according to the official post.
